A fertility coach is a professional who provides emotional, practical, and educational support to individuals and couples navigating the journey of fertility treatment and/or conception. They offer guidance, encouragement, and tools to help manage the emotional and physical challenges associated with fertility issues, including stress, anxiety, and the psychological impact of treatments like IVF.
Many people going through this journey have never been given advice or spoken through what their journey may look like. They are often just given the results, told to do further testing and jump into treatment without really knowing the full ins and outs, which can make the process very overwhelming. This is what happened to me, and I want to change that!
Looking at a more holistic approach to fertility is also never really discussed however things like nutrition, gut microbiome, lifestyle, stress levels, can all have an impact on not only our wellbeing but on our ability to conceive and carry a pregnancy to full term.
Every person and every couple has their own fertility journey. We have a variety of coaching offerings, ranging from packages to individual hourly sessions. Sometimes one conversation is enough to set you on your path, however sometimes, several sessions is needed to support you on your journey.
The aim is for you to walk away, feeling confident, empowered, calm and able to take charge of your fertility journey, knowing exactly what is happening.

Your first session is a longer consultation (around 1 hour ) where we’ll take a detailed look at your fertility journey so far, your challenges, and your hopes for the future. We’ll begin identifying areas you’d like support with and introduce coaching techniques to help you start feeling more grounded and focused.
In the second session, we’ll build on this by setting meaningful goals and creating a personalised plan. For example, this could include mindset strategies for coping with IVF, or small nutrition and lifestyle shifts to support your overall wellbeing.
From there, sessions are completely tailored to you. Some clients like to check in weekly or fortnightly, especially during IVF cycles, while others dip back in when they feel they need support. The coaching space is flexible - designed to give you what you need, when you need it.
-
I usually recommend a minimum of three sessions (including the initial consultation) to get the most benefit. For those going through IVF or other treatment, weekly or fortnightly sessions can provide consistent support. Others may choose less frequent sessions depending on their circumstances. It’s entirely flexible - you decide the pace and depth that works best for you. I can also give my recommendations on the number of sessions in our discovery call and initial consultation.

Coaching and counselling are both forms of support, but they serve different purposes. Counselling often looks at past experiences and emotions to help you process and heal. Coaching, on the other hand, is forward-focused; it’s about where you are now and where you want to go.
As a fertility coach, I don’t provide medical advice or therapy. Instead, I create a safe, supportive space where you can explore your options, gain clarity, and strengthen your resilience. We use practical tools and mindset strategies to help you feel more confident, calm, and in control of your journey - whether you’re trying naturally, starting IVF, or navigating life after treatment.
-
No one can guarantee a baby - and I believe it’s important to be clear about that. Fertility is influenced by many factors, including health, medical history, and chance.
What coaching can offer is tools to support your emotional wellbeing and help you feel more prepared and empowered. This might look like going into IVF feeling calmer and more confident, finding ways to reduce stress, or making gentle nutrition and lifestyle shifts that improve how you feel day-to-day.
Every journey is unique, but many people report a greater sense of balance, resilience, and hope after working with a fertility coach.
-
Absolutely. Coaching can be valuable at any stage of your journey. Ideally, starting a few months before treatment allows time to make supportive changes, but even if you’re beginning IVF soon, sessions can still help you feel more prepared.
We’ll focus on practical and emotional tools such as stress management, mindset shifts, and ways to feel calm and confident through the process. The aim is to create the best possible environment, both emotionally and physically, for you as you step into treatment.
